NGOs, civil society, students, media agents, people, mototaxi and cyclo drivers, on Friday, May 16, 2008, gathered in front of Phnom Penh Center in order to bring the Anti-Corruption Petition to the National Assembly, after the 1.094.450 thumprints collecting from the people within 19 provinces/municipalities since December 2007 to April 30, 2008. This event was to urge the parliamentarians to speed up the adoption of the Anti-Corruption Law.
